It's been a crazy year, but summer isn't over yet. We have limited space to teach young people mountain bike skills at the Maple Hill Trail. We'll observe good social protocol, bike safety and have a terrific time. Here's how it works:

Learn to Ride. This is for the youngsters just getting a taste of bicycling. Maybe they're on a strider. Maybe they've got training wheels. Perfect! We'll ride around, have some fun and get comfortable on bikes. Learn to Ride is limited to four kids. Class begins at 4:00.

Learn to Mountain Bike. This is for kids who've ditched the training wheels and are interested in learning some technique. We'll learn about bike safety. We'll learn effective braking. We'll learn a little about body position on the bike. Learn to Mountain Bike is limited to six kids. Class begins at 5:00.

Learn to Shred. This is aimed for kids who are pretty good on a bike. We'll focus on technique, skills and time on the bike. Learn to Shred is limited to six kids. Class begins at 6:00.

Class dates are August 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th.

Class will begin at the Maple Hill Trail trailhead. If you want to hang out while your kid is in class, please purchase a park pass.

We'll have a minimum of one instructor per two kids.

Helmets are required.

Class is $35 per student. Tuition will be refunded if the pandemic health concerns cause cancellation.
